Catawiki (the most-visited curated marketplace in Europe) made a big jump and partnered with the RedBull owned Italian Formula 1 team 'Scuderia AlphaTauri'. This partnership allowed Formula 1 fans to exclusively bid on cars, automobilia and equipment directly from the RedBull and AlphaTauri archives.
As AD & Design Lead on the project I was in charge of bringing to life the special connection between F1 collectors’ items and F1 fans. In collaboration with Clem Newman as Lead copywriter we were able to create visuals and copy connecting the visceral effect of F1 racing to the objects in auction, inspiring enthusiast to own those special moments by bidding on Catawiki.
The first Alpha Tauri auction had one of the highest ever recorded profit on Catawiki, thanks to the impact of this campaign.
